“CHEMITOP Co., Ltd.” (hereinafter Company) reserves the following handling policies in order to protect the personal information and rights and interests of users according to the Personal Information Protection Act, while smoothly handling the complaints of users regarding personal information. In the event that there are revisions to the personal information handling policy, Company shall notify such information via website announcements (or individually). This policy shall be effective from July 16, 2021.



Personal information collected

Company collects the following personal information for the purpose of handling online inquiries such as product inquiries.

  • • Personal information collection method: Company website (online inquiries)


Purpose of collection and use of personal information

Company shall use the collected personal information for the following purposes.
Response to inquiries, identification, prevention of misuse by illicit users and prevention of unauthorized use, verification of inquirer, etc.



Possession and usage period of personal information

Company shall process personal information within the personal information possession and usage period according to the law or within the personal information possession and usage period agreed upon when collecting personal information from the information provider. In principle, user personal information shall be destroyed without delay when the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved. However, the following information shall be preserved for a period specified for the following reasons.

  • • Preservation items: company/department name, name, contact information (mobile number and general phone number), e-mail address, service usage history, access login, access IP information
  • • Preservation grounds: Preserve grounds for answers and for other statistical reasons
  • • Retention period: 12 months after answering questions


Procedures and methods for destroying personal information

In principle, the company destroys the personal information without delay after the purpose of collecting and using it has been achieved. The procedure and method of destruction are as follows.

  • • Destruction procedure: After achieving the purpose, the information entered by the user is transferred to a separate DB (separate documents in the case of paper) and stored for a certain period of time in accordance with the internal policy and other related laws and regulations and then immediately destroyed. At this time, the personal information transferred to the DB will not be used for any other purpose unless it is by law.
  • • Destruction deadline: The user's personal information shall be destroyed within 30 days from the end of the retention period, and within 30 days from the date when it is deemed unnecessary to process the personal information, such as achieving the purpose of processing the personal information, abolishing the service, or terminating the business.
  • • Destruction method: Information in the form of electronic files uses a technical method that cannot play records. Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by pulverization or incineration.


Provision of Personal Information

In principle, the company does not provide the user's personal information to the outside. However, exceptions are made in the following cases. • When users agree in advance • When there is a request from an investigative agency in accordance with the provisions of the law or in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed in the law for the purpose of investigation



Consignment of collected personal information

The company does not entrust your information to an external company without the user's consent. In the event of such a need in the future, we will notify the customer of the person to be entrusted and the details of the entrusted work, and obtain prior consent if necessary.



Matters concerning the installation, operation and refusal of automatic personal information collection devices

It does not operate a device that collects automatically generated personal information when using Internet services such as cookies.



Change of personal information processing policy

The personal information processing policy will be applied from the date of enforcement, and if there is any addition, deletion, or correction of changes in accordance with laws and regulations, it will be notified through an announcement 10 days before the enforcement of the changes.
