The 2022 Small and Medium Business Convergence Festival opened in Ulsan for three days from the 28th to the 30th.

Hosted by the Ulsan Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and organized by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business Convergence and the Ulsan Federation of Small and Medium Business Convergence, more than 2,000 people attended this year's convergence competition, including 40 overseas associations, 1,462 regional associations and related organizations.

The convergence competition held at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center was organized as a venue for information exchange by local associations, encouraging people of merit who contributed to the spread of a cooperative culture between companies under the theme of "Innovative Growth through Exchange and Convergence."

In particular, a total of 50 companies (20 government awards) were selected by dividing the awards held at the opening ceremony on the 29th into three areas: ▷ open innovation ▷ technology convergence ▷ expansion of cooperative culture.

CEO Lee Chan-gu, who received the Presidential Award on the same day, said, "I am happy to receive an unexpected big award," adding, "I will work harder in the future to contribute not only to corporate development but also to revitalizing the local economy."

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business Convergence was established in 1994 to establish a cooperative network (network) between companies and promote technology convergence and collaboration through exchanges in this industry, and has 6,528 member companies of 13 regional associations nationwide and 81 overseas associations.
